Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a renowned Indian actress in Telugu and Tamil cinema, recently marked her return to work after a seven-month sabbatical due to mental health concerns and and physical health and post-divorce issues. The actress, known for her roles in films like “Ye Maaya Chesave,” “Eega,” and “Dookudu,” faced setbacks in 2023 with the critical and commercial failures of “Shaakuntalam” and “Kushi.”
Taking a break for personal well-being, Samantha has now embarked on a new venture – a health podcast called Take20. In her podcast, she aims to discuss health goals and values. The first episode, featuring a conversation with wellness coach and nutritionist Alkesh Sharotri, is set to be released on February 19.
Samantha expressed her excitement about returning to work and shared a snippet from the podcast session on social media. In the video, she mentioned, “I am going back to work, finally. But apart from that, in the meantime, I was completely jobless. But, I am doing something fun with a friend. It’s a health podcast. It is quite unexpected, but it is something that I really love, and something I am extremely passionate about.”
The actress, last seen in “Kushi” alongside Vijay Deverakonda, is also gearing up for her upcoming web series alongside Varun Dhawan titled “Citadel.” As she steps back into the limelight, Samantha’s fans can anticipate insightful discussions on health and well-being through her Take20 podcast.
