Ramoji Rao, the visionary behind Eenadu and Ramoji Film City, bid farewell to the world at 87 in Hyderabad, Telangana. Battling health troubles, he sought treatment at Star Hospital for breathing difficulties and high blood pressure. Despite doctors’ efforts, he peacefully passed away at 3:45 am. A fighter, Rao had conquered colon cancer in the past.

Rao wasn’t just a media mogul; he was a beacon of inspiration. His brainchild, Ramoji Group, gave birth to landmarks like Ramoji Film City and ETV Network. His contributions to cinema earned him numerous accolades, including four Filmfare Awards (South) and a prestigious National Film Award.
