Vijay Deverakonda, affectionately known as Rowdy by his fans, is set to return to the big screen in an exciting new action drama. The film, currently referred to as VD12, is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the National Award-winning filmmaker behind hits like Jersey and Malli Raava. The movie has been shot in the picturesque locations of Sri Lanka, with 60% of the filming already completed. The team is working hard to make sure the film offers something truly special for audiences. VD12 is scheduled to hit theaters on March 28, 2025. The title and first look of the film will be revealed later this August, adding to the excitement.
The musical score for VD12 is being composed by Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander, known for his energetic and memorable tunes. The film features the work of acclaimed cinematographers Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T John, and is edited by the National Award-winning Navin Nooli. Production design is being handled by Avinash Kolla.
