Sriya Reddy: From Break to Blockbuster

Sriya Reddy, the talented Indian actress and former video jockey, comes from a unique background as the daughter of former Indian test cricketer Bharath Reddy. Starting her career as a popular video jockey at SS Music, she later ventured into acting, making a mark in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films.

Her journey began with the debut in “Samurai” (2002), followed by notable roles in films like “Black” (2004), “Thimiru” (2006), and “Kanchivaram” (2008). Taking a break after marrying actor-producer Vikram Krishna in March 2008, Sriya returned after eight years with a powerful performance in “Andaava Kaanom,” directed by Vadivel, playing the role of an intense village woman named Shanthi. She also gained recognition for her role as Radha Rama in the successful film “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” and garnered popularity with the Amazon web series “Suzhal: The Vortex.”

Recently, Sriya shared snapshots from her day in Bangalore on social media, expressing gratitude for meaningful connections and emphasizing the importance of meeting good people. Currently, she is actively involved in filming for Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming project ‘OG,’ showcasing her continued dedication to the entertainment industry.
