Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor recently shared heartfelt memories of collaborating with the late Sushant Singh Rajput on films like Kedarnath and Kai Po Che. Kapoor reflected on the remarkable transformation Sushant underwent for Kedarnath, emphasizing his commitment to early morning cricket practice and gym workouts. Despite the physical challenges, Kapoor observed that Sushant appeared ‘disturbed’ and ‘isolated’ during the shoot, revealing a vulnerable side to the actor.
Kapoor also highlighted Sushant’s influence on co-star Sara Ali Khan, noting how his relentless dedication inspired her to follow suit. The 2018 film Kedarnath, set against the backdrop of the 2013 North India floods, featured Sushant as Mansoor Khan, a Muslim man in love with a Hindu priest’s daughter, played by Sara Ali Khan.
Tragically, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in 2020, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and talent that continues to be remembered and cherished by those who had the privilege of working with him.
