Tamil actor Ajith’s upcoming film ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’ faced a major setback during filming in Azerbaijan when his car was involved in a serious accident. Videos of the incident quickly went viral after being shared by Ajith’s publicist on his official social media account.
In one of the videos, Ajith is seen driving the car himself, accompanied by his co-star Aarav Kizar, the winner of ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ season one. Aarav appears in the video with his hands bound and his neck taped to the seat, indicating the intensity of the scene being shot.
What adds to the gravity of the situation is the fact that Ajith is known for performing his own stunts, including riding scenes, without the use of a stunt double. This commitment to realism makes the accident all the more concerning for fans and the film industry alike.
Directed by Magizha Thirumeni, ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’ promises to be an adrenaline-pumping thriller, with Ajith Kumar leading the cast. Alongside Ajith, the movie features talented actors such as Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, and Aarav in supporting roles.
Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions, the film is expected to make its theatrical debut before streaming on Netflix. The team behind the scenes, including composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Nirav Shah, and editor NB Srikanth, has been working tirelessly to bring the project to life.
Despite the setback caused by the accident, Ajith had earlier announced in January 2024 that the filming schedule in Azerbaijan had been successfully concluded, marking a significant milestone in the production process.
