Today, Shiva Kandukuri’s latest film, “Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana,” directed by Purushotham Raaj, has been released. Let’s explore and assess the film’s reception.

Story :

Picture this: In the border region between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, a gripping tale unfolds. A serial killer is on the loose, targeting women and leaving their lifeless bodies in the forest. What’s even more chilling is that this killer takes the heads of his victims. What makes this story even more perplexing is the absence of missing person reports. No one seems to file a complaint despite these horrifying deaths.

Enter Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana, a small-time detective in the area, portrayed by Shiva Kandukuri. Despite his best efforts, Bhaskar Narayana can’t seem to find any clues about these gruesome murders. The police are stumped too – missing heads and no missing person complaints make cracking the case a real challenge.

But here’s the twist: Bhaskar Narayana has a personal connection to these serial killings. The mystery deepens. Who is this killer? What drives them to commit such heinous acts? And why on earth are they taking the heads of the deceased? These questions lie at the heart of the film’s plot, promising a suspenseful and intriguing journey into the unknown.

Positive Aspects :

The best part of the whole movie is super exciting. It’s connected to an old story, kind of like a myth, and when they spill the beans about it, the movie becomes really interesting. The build-up to the climax and the actual climax scenes are done really well, especially the guy who played the main bad guy – he nailed it.

Our main guy, Shiva Kandukuri, is awesome, and he’s way different from his last movie, Manu Charithra. It’s like he’s a whole new person, and he totally rocks the detective role. Shiva Kandukuri’s acting gets even better towards the end of the movie. Rashi Singh does a good job in her role, and everyone else does their bit nicely too.

The visuals are cool and give you that mysterious feeling the movie wants. The people who make the sets and do the cool visual effects did a great job. The small-town look and the house scene at the end are really well done. The movie looks good, and they spent money in the right places.

Negative Aspects :

Okay, here’s the scoop on the movie Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana. Nowadays, people are pretty sharp, especially when it comes to mystery thrillers. So, the folks behind the movie need to be super careful. The thing with this movie is that figuring out who the killer is isn’t all that hard, and that takes away some of the excitement. Once they spill the beans on the big twist, it’s not like a big shocker. Instead, we’re left waiting to find out why the crimes are happening.

Now, in thrillers like this, you expect a killer background score, right? Well, this movie kind of falls short in that department. The scenes don’t hit you as hard because the background music doesn’t bring the oomph. Plus, the sound mixing is a bit off – lots of dialogues are kinda hard to catch. And get this, when they reveal the twist and all the mythological stuff, they use animation. Visually, it’s cool, but the sound mixing messes with the whole experience.

The first half is a bit all over the place. Things don’t flow smoothly between scenes, and they tried throwing in some jokes here and there. But honestly, the humor doesn’t quite hit the mark. The central plot keeps you interested, but the way it’s all put together isn’t top-notch.

Technical Elements :

Let’s talk tunes – the songs and background music in the movie? Not the greatest, honestly. Remember how we chatted about the wonky sound mixing? Yep, it’s back, and it messes with the whole watching experience. Plus, the movie could have been a bit shorter, you know, keep it snappy. On a brighter note, Goutham. G’s visuals are pretty powerful and add a lot to the story.

Now, the captain of the ship, Purushotham Raaj, did a decent job. The main story keeps you hooked, but the way it’s all put together has its ups and downs. And let’s not forget those technical hiccups that kinda get in the way. But, hey, the last twenty minutes and some parts of the investigation are well done, so it’s not all bad.

Conclusion :

So, about Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana – it kicks off with a pretty cool idea, but the way they tell the story doesn’t quite hit the jackpot. The first half is a bit all over the place, scenes feeling like they’re not quite buddies. But hey, the second half pulls things together, and it starts making sense. The final few minutes are pretty slick and bring in some good thrills.

Shoutout to Shiva Kandukuri for rocking that detective role – he did a solid job. Now, if they fixed up those technical bumps, this movie could have been way better. But, you know, if you’re cool with these hiccups, maybe give Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana a shot. It’s got its moments.
