Story :

In Lambasingi, we meet Veera Babu (played by Bharath Raj), a young police constable starting his first job in the remote area of Lambasingi in Andhra Pradesh. He finds himself drawn to Haritha (played by Divi Vadthya), a local girl. But things take a serious turn when Naxalites kill the area’s MLA. As Veera Babu investigates, he discovers Haritha’s hidden past. Is she involved in the MLA’s murder? What will Veera Babu do next? These questions drive the story forward, unraveling the mystery step by step.

Positive Aspects :

Divi Vadthya impresses in her debut as a leading lady, bringing versatility to her role with a strong performance. She adds layers to her character, making the movie more enjoyable.

Bharath Raj, also making his debut, delivers decent performances throughout the film. Moreover, some songs by R R Dhruvan stand out for their great quality.

Negative Aspects :

The story in Lambasingi follows a well-known path, lacking freshness and failing to surprise. Despite having potential for an engaging plot, the script feels ordinary and predictable. After an intriguing twist, the second half of the movie falls into a formulaic pattern seen in many other films. Lambasingi, a beautiful hill station in Andhra Pradesh, isn’t showcased properly, missing out on capturing its scenic charm.

Moreover, there are issues with lip-sync, especially noticeable with Divi’s character, which takes away from the overall experience. Many characters aren’t well-developed, resulting in dull performances from the rest of the cast.

Technical Elements :

Naveen Gandhi’s idea has potential, but how it’s brought to life in the story isn’t as good as it could be. If they had spent more time polishing the script, the movie could have been much better.

The background music doesn’t really stick with you, and K Bujji’s camera work doesn’t make the most of the beautiful locations in the movie. However, the editing is okay. The overall look and feel of the movie are decent.

Conclusion :

Overall, Lambasingi doesn’t really stand out from other movies with similar stories. Even though Jai Bharat Raj and Divi Vadthya do a decent job, and there are a couple of good songs, the movie lacks originality, a clear story, and strong character development. If you’re looking for something really interesting to watch, it’s probably better to check out some other options instead.
