Naa Saami Ranga, the latest film starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, has made its theatrical debut today, creating a considerable buzz. Explore our review to gauge its performance.

Story:

In Ambajipeta village, President Peddayya (Nasser) helps Kistayya’s (Nagarjuna) family during a tough time. Kistayya is a loyal friend and loves Mahalaxmi, also known as Varalu (Ashika Ranganath). However, something unexpected happens that separates them. Dasu (Shabeer Kallarakkal), who is Peddayya’s son, has a grudge against Kistayya and his brother Anji (Allari Naresh) and wants to harm them. But why do they have a rivalry? What caused Varalu and Kistayya to break up? And what’s the connection between Bhaskar (Raj Tarun) and the whole story? The movie holds all the answers to these questions.

Positive Points:

Nagarjuna is still loved by many because of his mass appeal, good looks, and strong on-screen presence. Fans enjoy his way of speaking and how he performs as an elder brother and loyalist to Nasser in the movie.

Ashika Ranganathan, who knew she’d be playing a role older than her actual age, deserves credit for approving the project. She charms the audience with her beauty and acting skills, especially in scenes with Nagarjuna.

Allari Naresh is entertaining and leaves a strong impression, especially in the second half of the movie. The music by MM Keeravaani effectively sets the right emotional atmosphere. The well-planned pre-climax and climax scenes make the movie even more appealing, and the supporting cast does a good job with their performances.

Negative Points :

The movie’s story is not very new or exciting for Telugu audiences, and the director, Vijay Binni, who also handled the screenplay, could have done a better job.

The characters played by Raj Tarun, Shabeer, and Rukshar Dhillon could have been given more depth. Although Vijay Binni directed well, a faster-paced screenplay would have made the movie more engaging. Prasanna Kumar’s involvement could have added more emotional scenes, especially in the second half.

The connection between Allari Naresh and Nagarjuna could have been shown better in the first half, making the scenes in the second half more entertaining. A stronger portrayal of the villain and better placement of a couple of songs could have made the overall experience better.

Technical Details:

In his first time directing a movie, Vijay Binni did a good job, but the story could have been more interesting if the writer, Prasanna Kumar, had focused more on making it gripping.

The music by MM Keeravaani made many scenes better, creating the right feelings for love, action, and sadness. The editing and cinematography were well done, making the movie look good, and the production values were good too. The art department did a great job and deserves credit for their valuable contributions to the film.

Conclusion :

Overall, Naa Saami Ranga is a good village drama. Nagarjuna, Allari Naresh, and Ashika Ranganathan act well. But, the first part of the movie is a bit slow, and there aren’t any standout scenes. Not everyone might like the movie, but it’s enjoyable for families and a large audience during this festive season.
