Exciting news! Suhas, the talented young actor, just dropped his latest flick, “Prasanna Vadanam,” in theaters today. Fans were buzzing with anticipation, so let’s dive into our review and see how the movie holds up.

Story :

Surya (played by Suhas), a cool Radio Jockey dealing with a rare condition called Prosopagnosia, which makes him unable to recognize faces, even of his close ones. Only his buddy Vignesh (played by Harsha Chemudu) and sweetheart Aadhya (played by Payal Radhakrishna) know about his condition. One night, he witnesses a crime but can’t identify the culprit because of his face blindness. So, he seeks help from ACP Vaidehi (played by Rashi Singh), but things take a twist. What happens next? Did the police nab the bad guy? Did Surya, despite his condition, play a crucial role in solving the case? Find out all the thrilling answers by catching this gripping story in theaters.

Positive Aspects :

Suhas, while riding high on his career success, dives into yet another gripping role, playing a character dealing with Face Blindness brilliantly.

Actress Rashi Singh’s brave move to step into a negative character’s shoes proves successful, showing her talent beyond typical heroine roles.

Payal Radhakrishna and Harsha Chemudu give solid performances, while Nitin Prasanna stands out in his role. The supporting cast also impresses with their acting chops.

The movie keeps you on your toes with a surprising twist before the break and some heart-pounding moments in the second half.

Negative Aspects :

While Prasanna Vadanam starts with an interesting idea, it struggles to keep the excitement going all the way through, which makes it less impactful overall. If the story had stayed more on track, especially in the second part, it could have been much better.

Rashi Singh’s character needed more attention. Some important scenes didn’t dig deep enough, leaving us wanting more.

The love story subplot feels like it doesn’t belong in a serious movie like this. Also, some parts about the murder felt like they’ve been seen before in other Telugu films.

Technical Elements :

New director Arjun YK has potential, but the movie could use some work on keeping the story moving along smoothly.

The music by Vijay Bulganin adds a lot to important moments, and the cinematography by S Chandrasekaran and editing by Karthika Srinivas are good enough. The overall look of the movie is fine, but it might have been better if it was a bit shorter.

Conclusion :

Overall, Prasanna Vadanam gives you an alright thriller ride. Suhas does a good job, and Rashi Singh shines as the bad guy. Some surprises make it worth watching, but the movie’s a bit slow at times and has scenes that don’t really add much.
