Girish’s new movie, “Premalu,” wants to be like those Malayalam films that tell fun stories from everyday life. We’ll see if it manages to do that or not. Let’s find out!

Story :

Sachin, an engineering graduate, wants to leave his hometown and go to the UK for work. He’s not happy where he is. With the help of his friend Amal, he comes to Hyderabad for a while. There, he meets Reenu, who works in IT, and he falls in love with her. However, Reenu has a different idea of an ideal boyfriend compared to Sachin. They become friends, but to see if their love story develops, you’ll have to watch the movie for the exciting twists and turns on the big screen.

Performances:

Naslen, who plays Sachin, is fantastic on the screen, showing innocence and a longing for love. He makes us laugh and care for his character a lot. Mamitha Baiju, who plays Reenu, is adorable and emotes well, especially in the serious scenes. The chemistry between her and Naslen is delightful to watch. Sangeeth Prathap, playing Amal, is good, and his jokes are really funny. Shyam Mohan, as Aadhi, Reenu’s best friend, gives an entertaining performance, making the audience laugh with his frustrated character.

Technical Elements :

The music by Vishnu Vijay in the movie was nice and pleasing. The song ‘Telangana Bommalu’ by KG Markose is a standout. The camera work by Ajmal Sabu is good, giving the visuals a simple and pleasing look. Akash Joseph Varghese did a good job with the editing, especially in the first half where the pace was really good.

Best Points:

The main actors brought lots of funny moments to the movie.

 rejection or not good Point:

The climax seemed rushed, lacking a smooth and natural conclusion.

Analysis:

Girish A.D. showed his talent with the first movie ‘Thaneer Mathan Dinangal’ and the second one ‘Super Sharanya.’ Now, with his third film ‘Premalu,’ he hits a superb hattrick.

From the beginning, the movie is full of laughs, with cute performances from the main actors. Girish made the movie light-hearted and enjoyable. The characters Sachin and Reenu are well-written and complement each other beautifully.

The scenes showing the life of a new IT employee in Hyderabad are impressive, and IT workers can easily connect with them. Some dialogues in Telugu add excitement for the Telugu audience.

Girish captured the spirit of Hyderabad well, which is not common in Malayalam movies. The movie’s simplicity is pleasing, and the humor is spread throughout the story, keeping it engaging. If the ending were better, the movie would feel more complete; the climax felt a bit rushed.
