Telangana Former Chief Minister and BRS President, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, held a crucial meeting at his Erravelli farmhouse to plan for the upcoming Parliament elections. In attendance were key leaders including K.T. Rama Rao, Harish Rao, and Kavitha. The focus was on election strategy, candidate selection, and coordination efforts. This marked KCR’s first significant meeting with party leaders since their defeat in the Assembly elections.
Sources revealed that Kavitha’s role in campaigning and coordination is nominal, with KTR and Harish Rao taking on more responsibilities. Previously, during the Assembly elections, KCR mainly addressed public meetings, while KTR and Harish Rao handled roadshows, rallies, surveys, and coordination. Despite their efforts, the party faced defeat, prompting KCR to urge activation of second-rung leaders and cadre for the upcoming general elections.
KCR emphasized coordination among MPs, MLAs, and former MLAs, directing leaders to focus on exposing Congress’ failures in implementing the Six Guarantees. The allocation of constituencies and campaign details will be finalized in the coming days.
