Thalapathy Vijay, the popular Tamil actor and TVK chief, spoke out against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) enforced by the Central government. He shared his disapproval on social media, saying that implementing the CAA isn’t okay when everyone in the country is living together peacefully. Vijay also asked the Tamil Nadu government to make sure this law doesn’t apply in our state.
Other leaders who don’t support the government also criticized the BJP for trying to split people and create tension before the upcoming elections. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin called it a “divisive agenda” and said that the people will show their disapproval in the elections. Thalapathy Vijay’s message adds to the voices against the controversial CAA.
