What’s next for Nayanthara
In her upcoming venture, “Annapoorani – The Goddess of Food,” directed by debutant Nilesh Krishnaa, Nayanthara stars alongside Jai in a narrative set in Srinagaram, near Trichy. The storyline revolves around Nayanthara’s character, Poorani, an individual from an orthodox Brahmin family with culinary aspirations in a predominantly male-dominated industry. The teaser and two songs from the film, which have already been released as part of promotions, suggest a compelling narrative.
Produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Naad Studios and Trident Arts, the film addresses Poorani’s journey in pursuing her passion for cooking, including non-vegetarian dishes that challenge her family’s beliefs. The music is composed by Thaman S, and Sathyan Sooryan serves as the cinematographer. Additionally, Nayanthara is set to appear in “Test,” directed by S. Sashikanth and featuring Madhavan, Sidharth, Meera Jasmine, and more, as well as “Mannangatti Since 1960,” directed by Dude Vicky, with Yogi Babu sharing the screen with the esteemed actress.
