Rukshar Dhillon was born in London and has Punjabi roots but grew up in Goa. She started her acting career with the film Run Antony, where she starred alongside Vinay Rajkumar. She also appeared in the Telugu movie Krishnarjuna Yudham with Nani and made her Hindi film debut with Bhangra Paa Le in 2020. Her latest appearance was in Naa Saami Ranga.
