Tragedy struck the Telugu film industry on Thursday with the passing of Roohi, wife of renowned cinematographer K.K. Senthil Kumar. Roohi, a respected yoga instructor, breathed her last while undergoing treatment at a Hyderabad hospital after battling illness for several days. The news sent shockwaves through the community, with tributes pouring in from actors, directors, and colleagues.
Senthil and Roohi tied the knot in 2009 and built a beautiful life together, raising two children. Roohi’s passing comes as a heavy blow to the family, especially following Senthil’s recent break from films to prioritize her health. The couple’s strong bond was well-known within the industry, and their partnership with director S.S. Rajamouli produced some of Telugu cinema’s most iconic visuals, including “Magadheera”, “Eega”, and the “Baahubali” franchise.
The final rites for Roohi will be held on Friday morning at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills. As the film fraternity mourns this untimely loss, our deepest condolences go to Senthil Kumar and their family. Their contribution to Tollywood will be remembered, and Roohi’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
