Anushka Shetty is eagerly anticipating the release of her upcoming movie, “Miss Shetty, Mr. Polishetty.” While there have been speculations that she might not be available for the film’s promotional activities, surprising news has emerged indicating her Malayalam film debut in “Kathanar, The Wild Sorcerer.” In this new venture, she will share the screen with Jayasurya, who plays the titular character.
Directed by Rojin Thomas, renowned for his work in the film “#Home,” this ambitious project draws its inspiration from the captivating stories of Kadamattathu Kathanar, a Kerala priest known for his reputed supernatural abilities.
The filmmakers have unveiled a tantalizing two-minute video that offers a glimpse into the mystical world of the movie. From the visuals, it’s evident that the film promises a riveting journey, steeped in sorcery and supernatural phenomena, all set in an otherworldly realm. Notably, a significant portion of the movie will be filmed on an expansive 45,000-square-foot modular shooting floor.
Following the release of her comeback film, “Miss. Shetty Mr. Polishetty,” slated for September 7th, Anushka Shetty will soon commence shooting for her role in “Kathanar.”
