Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly acquired a plot in Ayodhya worth Rs 14.5 crore, just ahead of the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple. The plot is situated in The Sarayu, a luxurious enclave in Ayodhya developed by Mumbai-based The House of Abhinandan Lodha. Bachchan expressed his anticipation for the venture, stating, “I am excited to begin this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart.”
The Sarayu is set to be unveiled on January 22, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. Bachchan’s purchase aligns with the launch, signifying his deep connection with the spiritual and culturally rich city. The legendary actor shared his sentiments, expressing his eagerness to construct his home in the global spiritual capital.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan, known as the Shehenshah of Bollywood, was last seen in the 2023 release, Ganapath.
