The famous singer, Asha Bhosle, met Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, to launch her new book, “Best of Asha Bhosle.” She wore a white outfit with a red shawl for the special day. Asha gave her book to Amit Shah to reveal, and she thanked him for doing the honors. The book has pictures of Asha taken by a famous photographer, Gautam Rajadhyaksha, and it shares stories about her life and songs through the pictures.
Asha Bhosle is known for her lively songs, having sung over 12,000 in eight decades. Some of her popular songs include “Piya Tu Ab To Aaja” and “Dil Cheez Kya Hai.” Turning 90 last September, she plans to celebrate her birthday with a concert on March 9. After the book launch, Asha and Amit Shah were seen chatting happily. Asha is excited about her birthday concert, named “Woh Phir Nahin Aati Hai,” and she hopes to perform all over Maharashtra, making sure people get to see her.
