The winners of the 2024 Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards have been announced, celebrating excellence in the film industry. Shah Rukh Khan clinched the Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in “Jawan,” while Nayanthara, his co-star, was honored with the Best Actress award for the same film. Anirudh Ravichander received the Best Music Director accolade for his work in “Jawan,” and Sandeep Reddy Vanga was recognized as the Best Director for “Animal.”
On the critics’ front, Vicky Kaushal earned the Best Actor (Critics) award for his role in “Sam Bahadur.” The film “Jawan” also received praise from critics, with Atlee winning the Best Director (Critics) award.
The film “12th Fail” was acknowledged as the Best Film (Critics), and Kareena Kapoor Khan received the Best Actress (Critics) award for “Jaane Jaan.”
Other notable winners include Bobby Deol for Best Actor in a Negative Role (Animal), Anil Kapoor for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and Vikrant Massey and Adah Sharma as the Most Promising Actor and Actress, respectively.
