The movie ‘Fighter‘ is facing a bit of a snag as an Air Force officer named Saumya Deep Das from Assam has sent a legal notice, expressing concern that a kissing scene between Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, while dressed in Indian Air Force uniforms, is disrespectful to the IAF.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film tells the story of fighter pilots in Jammu and Kashmir, with a romantic twist involving the lead characters.
Despite the legal hiccup, the movie, also featuring Anil Kapoor, has been warmly received, raking in an impressive Rs 350 crore worldwide in just 12 days since its release.
