Karan Johar had to miss out on Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar because he came down with a bad case of viral fever. He and his friend Manish Malhotra were all geared up to perform at the event, but Karan had to cancel at the last minute. In his absence, Manish teamed up with Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor for a special act on ‘Bole Chudiyaan,’ which they had rehearsed with Karan.
Despite not being physically present, Karan made sure to convey his best wishes to the couple over the phone and assured them that he would catch up with them soon. On March 6, he shared a touching video of Radhika’s entrance and praised the festivities for their warmth, family bonds, and reflection of Indian traditions. The three-day celebration, attended by several Bollywood stars, wrapped up with Karan extending his heartfelt congratulations to Anant and Radhika.
