The film, which some said was against Hindu beliefs, got taken off Netflix. ‘Annapoorani’ is about a Brahmin girl, played by Nayanthara, who faces challenges pursuing her love for cooking.
People got upset about a scene where the girl eats meat, and a character says even Lord Ram did. Ramesh Solanki complained, and the film was removed. Nayanthara said sorry and explained the film aimed to inspire, not hurt.
She loves God and often visits temples. Nayanthara apologized to those hurt, saying her goal in movies is to spread positivity. Her apology shows she wants understanding, not trouble.
