Vijay Deverakonda, the popular face of Tollywood, is gearing up for his next big project after his successful stint in “Kushi” with Samantha, directed by Shiva Nirvana. Set to collaborate with Gowtam Tinnanuri for VD 12, a spy thriller, the film has caught attention with its impressive Rs. 100 crore budget. Despite initial speculations about the project’s status, the film’s PR team clarified that it’s actively in progress.
Featuring Sreeleela as the female lead, VD 12 is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners, respectively. Srikara Studios presents the movie, with Anirudh Ravichander lending his musical expertise. The espionage thriller is set to kick off its new schedule in March 2024, following Vijay Deverakonda’s completion of the “Family Star” shoot, where Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead.
