Episode 1:
In the first episode of “Happy Married Life,” we meet Mahadev, played by Nissar, who finds himself at a busy bus station. Everyone’s curious about him because he’s the groom, but he’s stuck because he doesn’t know where to go for his ‘pellichupulu’. He calls his mom for help, asking her to send someone to pick him up.
Meanwhile, Rajeshwari, or Raji for short, portrayed by Khushi Mannem, is dressed up as a goddess for a theater performance. Her friend Maya, played by Pooja Kendre, confides in her that she doesn’t want to get married. Maya asks for Raji’s help to cancel her pellichupulu. Raji, still in her costume, meets Mahadev at the bus station. They strike up a conversation, and Mahadev shares his situation. Raji, also headed to the pellichupulu venue, offers to give him a ride. During their chat, Raji tells Mahadev about Maya’s reluctance to marry because she’s already in a relationship.
Episode 2:
In the next episode, the tension rises at the wedding venue as everyone gathers for the pellichupulu ceremony. Maya’s parents eagerly ask if she’s agreed to marry the groom, and reluctantly, she says yes. Then, it’s Mahadev’s turn to answer. To everyone’s shock, he says no! He confesses that he doesn’t want to marry the bride picked for him but rather likes Maya’s friend Raji.
This revelation leaves Raji stunned. She had asked Mahadev to help her, but she didn’t expect him to go this far. With Mahadev’s unexpected decision, the stage is set for more drama and twists in the upcoming episodes of “Happy Married Life.”
