Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release, ‘Dunki,’ has made a remarkable mark at the box office, amassing ₹218.17 crore net in India over 19 days and a staggering ₹425.9 crore globally. Despite a strong opening with ₹29.2 crore, the film faced a dip in collections on its third Monday, recording ₹1.6 crore net. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Dunki’ initially showed promise with a brief surge on Day 17, but the downward trend resumed post-weekend.
The worldwide success includes ₹166 crore from overseas and ₹259.9 crore from India. Red Chillies Entertainment proudly announced a global tally of ₹444.44 crore in just 18 days on X. With Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles, the ₹130 crore production has secured its place among Bollywood’s top-grossing films of 2023, now ranking as the 9th highest-grossing movie of the year.
