Vishwaksen’s much-anticipated film, Gaami, has finally premiered in theaters, generating a decent amount of buzz. Explore the review to get insights into its reception and overall performance.

Story :

Meet Shankar, played by Vishwaksen, who’s not your average guy – he’s an Aghora, dealing with a unique problem of fainting when touched by others. To fix this, he sets off on a quest for the rare Mali Patra flower, hidden away on Dronagiri mountain. Meanwhile, a group of doctors is up to some pretty awful experiments on people. In another corner, villagers are desperately searching for Uma, daughter of Devadasi Durga (Abhinaya). As Shankar’s journey unfolds, his connection with these different stories becomes clearer. Will he find the flower to solve his problem? And what’s Jahnavi (Chandini Chowdhary) got to do with all of this? The answers come as the story unfolds.

Positive Aspects :

Let’s give a big shout-out to the folks who made this movie happen! Director Vidyadhar Kagita, the tech team, and the cast all deserve a round of applause for putting their hearts into it.

Vishwaksen totally rocks as the Aghora guy, bringing his character to life with just the right amount of talking and a ton of expressive acting.

Chandini Chowdhary, playing the doctor alongside Shankar, does a great job too, showing off her skills.

Harika Pedada as Uma and Mohammad Samad as the young prisoner CT-333 really stand out, and the rest of the cast does a solid job within their roles. Oh, and the scenes in the Himalayas are just wow! Plus, the music is top-notch, thanks to the awesome tech team behind it. They really know how to make those moments even more special.

Negative Aspects :

While the story keeps you hooked, there’s a bit of a slow start, especially in the first half. It would have been nicer if the director kept things moving at a more exciting pace throughout.

The scenes with the experiments could have been more intense and gripping to really make an impact. And when it comes to surprising twists and the big finale, it felt like they could have been handled in a way that really wowed us.

Now, every movie has its quirks, right? Like, it’s not very realistic for the heroine to be walking around in freezing weather without gloves. The director could have paid a bit more attention to those little but important details.

Technical Elements :

Big kudos to first-time director Vidyadhar Kagita for bringing a not-so-common idea to life, even though a bit more focus on the story’s flow would’ve been nice.

The music and how the movie looks are seriously awesome, thanks to Naresh Kumaran and Vishwanath Reddy Ch. These guys really nailed it in their roles. Even with a tight budget, the team pulled off some really cool stuff, though there’s still some tidying up needed in the editing part.

Conclusion :

So, Gaami is kind of special when it comes to movies. Vishwaksen and Chandini Chowdhary really bring their A-game, and the tech stuff is top-notch, making it pretty appealing. But, fair warning, it takes its time, and there are a few moments where things get a bit slow. Still, if you’re into movies with cool technical stuff, Gaami is definitely one to think about checking out.
