Khushboo Sundar recently stepped in for her husband, director Sundar C, at the pre-release event of ‘Baak’, the Telugu version of ‘Aranmanai 4’. She explained his absence, mentioning he’s currently hospitalized due to illness.
Reflecting on the success of the ‘Aranmanai’ franchise, Khushboo expressed pride in its ability to draw in family audiences. She shed light on the decision to rename the film for Telugu viewers, citing research on a demon called ‘Bak’ from Assam.
Khushboo shared a personal anecdote about her rare visits to Sundar’s film sets, recalling a surprise visit on their wedding anniversary that was cut short when he tested positive for COVID-19.
Discussing their occasional disagreements, primarily about their children, Khushboo revealed Sundar’s infrequent but intense anger, often expressed by retreating behind a table.
Expressing gratitude towards the team and distributors, she eagerly anticipated the horror-comedy’s release on May 3, hoping it would once again captivate audiences.
