Padma Vibhushan Chiranjeevi: Republic Day Celebrations

Megastar Chiranjeevi, a true legend in Indian cinema, has graced the big screen for over four decades, starring in an impressive 150 films across various languages like Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada. His 1992 film, ‘Gharana Mogudu,’ was a game-changer, becoming the first Telugu film to smash the ₹10 crore mark at the box office. In 2024, the Government of India recognized his stellar contributions by awarding him the prestigious Padma Vibhushan.

But Chiranjeevi isn’t just a cinematic maestro; he’s a compassionate soul. Back in 1998, he founded the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust and set up Blood and Eye Banks, showcasing a deep-rooted commitment to social causes. On this Republic Day, he proudly hoisted the flag at his blood bank, surrounded by his daughter Sushmita, Varun Tej, producer Allu Arvind, and his adorable granddaughter.

Looking ahead, Chiranjeevi’s passion for cinema continues with projects like “Vishwambhara” and “Mega 157.” His impact goes beyond the silver screen, leaving an indelible mark not only in the entertainment world but also in making a positive difference in people’s lives.
