PM Modi’s Historic Kaziranga Wildlife Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had an exciting day at Kaziranga National Park, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to visit this incredible wildlife spot. His adventure began with a cool elephant ride in the Mihimukh area of the Central Kohora Range. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was pumped about this visit, declaring Modi as the pioneer PM to explore Kaziranga.

After the elephant ride, PM Modi hopped on a jeep for more wildlife fun in the beautiful Mihimukh area. He shared his experiences on social media, inviting everyone to check out the UNESCO World Heritage site and enjoy the stunning landscapes and the friendly folks of Assam.

During his visit, PM Modi hung out with Van Durga, a group of awesome women forest guards leading the charge in conservation. He even fed sugar cane to elephants Lakhimai, Pradyumna, and Phoolmai, giving a shout-out to the diverse wildlife at Kaziranga.

After the wildlife fun, PM Modi headed to Jorhat district for more exciting projects, leaving his mark on Assam’s conservation and culture.
