Sushant Singh Death Case: Relief for Rhea Chakraborty

Rhea Chakraborty, a Hindi and Telugu actress, stepped into the spotlight with her debut in the 2012 Telugu film “Tuneega Tuneega” and later appeared in “Mere Dad Ki Maruti.” In April 2019, she began a relationship with actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Tragically, on June 14, 2020, Rajput passed away by suicide at his Mumbai residence.

Following his demise, Sushant’s father raised concerns about Rhea and her family’s alleged involvement. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) then issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Rhea, her father Indrajit, and her brother Showik, restricting their foreign travel. Rhea, emphasizing her cooperation with the investigation, sought relief from the LOC, citing hindrances in fulfilling her work commitments.

Recently, the Bombay High Court quashed the LOC against Rhea and her family. The court questioned the necessity of the LOC, noting the absence of financial fraud in the case. Despite reduced activity in the film industry in recent years, Rhea faced legal challenges linked to the tragic incident in 2020.
