Actress Tamannaah Bhatia got a notice from the Maharashtra cyber cell recently. They want to talk to her about something related to promoting IPL matches on a gaming app called Mahadev. She needs to go in on April 29th and share what she knows about it.
Before Tamannaah, the cyber cell already talked to singer Badshah and some managers of other actors. It seems like they’re looking into this app for some shady stuff like illegal transactions and betting.
Tamannaah, you might know her from movies like “Baahubali” and “Lust Stories 2,” is being questioned because it’s said that she streamed IPL matches on another app called Fairplay back in 2023. This got Viacom, who has the rights to broadcast IPL, pretty upset because they say they lost a lot of money.
Sanjay Dutt, another famous actor, also got a notice about the same thing. He couldn’t make it on the date they wanted because he was out of the country. He asked if they could pick another day for him to talk to them.
