Zinta’s Cinematic Comeback: Lahore 1947

Preity G Zinta, an acclaimed Indian entrepreneur and former actress, gained prominence with her debut in the 1998 film “Dil Se..” and subsequent roles in “Soldier” and “Kya Kehna.” Her versatile performances won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Zinta evolved into a leading actress with notable films like “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna,” “Jhoom Barabar Jhoom,” and “Koi Mil Gaya.”

Apart from her acting career, she founded PZNZ Media and co-owns the IPL team Punjab Kings since 2008. Zinta is also the owner of the T20 Global League cricket team Stellenbosch Kings since 2017. Known for her outspoken nature, she received the Godfrey Phillips National Bravery Award for standing against the Indian mafia during the 2004 Bharat Shah case.

In 2016, Zinta married Gene Goodenough, and in 2021, they became parents to twins through surrogacy. Now, she plans a comeback in the film “Lahore 1947” opposite Sunny Deol, set to begin filming on February 12, 2024. Sunny Deol’s recent film, “Gadar 2,” was a commercial success, grossing over ₹691.08 crore. Zinta recently underwent a look test for her role, signaling her return to the silver screen.
